From on High

I wish I had the time to do a proper posting tonight.  I recently copied from my old laptop photos from the prior five years - including great photos from St. Lucia, Costa Rica, the Galapagos and Madison, Wisconsin (okay so this last location doesn't quite fit in with the others, but humor me, they're some great shots from a great college town that I lived in for a year).  I also took some really fun photos over this last weekend while I was visiting my family in Wisconsin.

But alas.  I have too much work to do.  I don't have the time to weed through all my old and new photos and cobble together a thoughtful post with the best photos from any one of these places.

So I give you just this one photo today.  It's from the top of a cathedral in Montreal.  It's also one of the rare times I've played with photoshop to change the effect of a photo.  Most of my photos are as they come, straight from the camera.  I see the fun in photography in capturing the right scene with my lens, not with careful doctoring on the computer.  But I like the effect here.  I hope you do too.
